Answers to questions we hear most often.
How much does it cost?
Monthly bookkeeping starts at $249. Your actual price depends on transaction volume and the complexity of your business. We'll give you an exact number after a short conversation.
My books are behind. Can you fix them?
Yes. We do catch-up work to bring your books current. Pricing depends on how far back we need to go and how much cleanup is involved. We've handled everything from a few months to a few years behind.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contracts. Monthly services are month-to-month. You can cancel anytime with 30 days notice.
How do I send you documents?
We set you up with a secure portal for uploading receipts, invoices, and anything else we need. If email is easier for you, that works too.
Do we need to meet in person?
Not required. Most clients prefer to work remotely. If you'd rather meet face to face, we're based in San Diego and happy to do that.
Do I need QuickBooks?
We work in QuickBooks Online. If you don't have it set up yet, we offer QBO setup and training to get you started.
What do I need to do each month?
Give us access to your bank feeds and upload any receipts we can't pull automatically. Most clients spend less than 15 minutes a month on this.
Do you handle payroll?
We handle payroll setup and training. We'll configure your system, connect everything, and train you to run payroll yourself going forward.
Do you file taxes?
We don't file income taxes, but we prepare your books so your CPA has clean financials ready to go. We also handle sales tax compliance if you need it.
How quickly do you respond?
We respond within one business day. Usually same day for emails and calls.
How soon can you start?
Usually within a week. If your books need cleanup, we start there. If they're already current, we move straight into monthly service.
